PC9170 features a highly integrated aluminum die-casting chassis. The system is protected by an IP66 rated flat front bezel. The ingress protection (IP) is designed for harsh environments. This industrial grade level of protection allows the panel pc to resist harmful dust, water, oil, and particles from any direction that could be a potential threat to the machinery. This 17-inch panel PC comes with an aluminum die-casting chassis. With the growing popularity in its advantages, the aluminum chassis casting is efficient for industrial purposes. An advantage of this chassis is its ability to dissipate heat efficiently. This would prevent the system from form overheating. Let’s look at some of the greater advantages that the aluminum die-casting chassis as compared to other metals like steel. Not only does this material possess axial strength up to three times that of steel, but it is also significantly lighter.
