PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Featuring a waterproof fully sealed stainless steel enclosed panel PC, the PCH8170 delivers a backbone of endurance and reliability. The fully sealed stainless steel device allows the entire material to be washed down with ease. The device is equipped with a fully IP66/69K rated protection. It can resist the most brutal of conditions normally seen in chemical and food plants and food factories. Its stainless steel body allows the system to withstand corrosion, damaging chemicals, mud, dust, heavy moisture that can potentially do some serious harm to a piece of equipment. Using stainless steel panel PC’s like the PCH8170 has a full wash down ability design. Stainless steel in its nature is easy to clean because it doesn’t absorb dust and prevents fingerprints. Compared to most other metals, using stainless steel will allow the panel PC to last longer because of the stain and rustproof material. It is also nonporous, eliminating any germs and bacteria that would subside on the device. The PCH8170 offers a sleek and shiny finish. This design allows the system applicable for long term operations while it delivers reliability and stability. The fanless embedded system features a Celeron Bay Trail-M N2930 1.83GHz Quad-Core CPU specifically optimized for improved performance and energy efficiency. The panel PC includes a 17-inch 1280 x 1024 5-wire resistive type touch screen, one of the most popular uses in touch screen technology. This type of resistive touch features a durable design that allows for activation with any object, operates on low power for power efficiency, and invulnerable towards liquids, oils, dust, etc. The PCH8170 features rich I/O interfaces. The system includes a total of 2 x USB, 1 x LAN, 1 x COM, and 1 x Power input. M12 industrial connectors are all fully sealed to ensure protection from washdowns and other surface contaminants. The robust industrial-grade device operates at a wide range of working temperatures ranging from 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). Standard VESA mounting is available in the back for industrial applications in the field, office, kitchen, or factories.
