A 4-slot open fanless industrial embedded computer is powered by low-power Intel® Atom™ processor Atom D525 1.8GHz Dual Core fan less processor and ICH 8-M chipset to To satisfy expansion capability requirement for a wider range of industrial needs. It provides four PCI slots or two PCI plus one PCIe x16 and PCIe x1 slots,

The on board memory consists of one DDR3-800 DIMM socket, and a max of 4 GB. It comes with a 2.5 inch slim-type SATA hard drive, 1 x DDRIII SODIMM memory (Max. 4 GB), watchdog timer, 4 x COM ports, 6 x USB ports, Gigabit LAN, and VGA. The fanless industrial PC uses the industry-grade Phoenix type or DC-jack power connector plug, and supports a 18VDC ~ 28VDC power supply with ATX power function. The embedded system comes with a standard 2.5 inch SATA HD and an onboard Compact Flash socket.

The FES2924 consists of a compact rugged fan less micro box with an aluminum enclosure and a heavy-duty alloy finish for strength and protection. Its small size allows itself to be kept in space constraining environments. This embedded system offers a vent less, industrial-grade fan less chassis which allows for noiseless applications and protection against harmful elements and dust. The system includes an excellent thermal construction which allows it to operate in a wide range of temperatures from 0 °C to 45°C. This embedded PC is optimal for numerous industrial applications like POS, surveillance control and transportation. Measuring at 6.2"(W) x 7.3"(H) x 9.8"(D), the FES2924 is small enough for easy storage in uneasy spaces.

The embedded computer provides standard two PCI slots, one PCI Express and one PCI Express by 16 slots for the expansion slots. The FES2924 is fully compatible with 32/64 bit versions of Window 7 / 8 and Linux.
