Ruggedized embedded computer . To provide excellent computing capability, the high performance system can be equipped with the 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 mobile processor and Intel® HM65 Chipset. This highly customizable system offers great flexibility with two PCI/PCIe expansion slots, giving customers increased customization.

The FES8912 features an aluminum finished chassis constructed by heavy-duty cold-rolled steel by IP30 standards, giving it a strong durable structure. The small design of the FES8912 allows it to perform efficiently in space critical places. The embedded PC includes a fanless design for noiseless performance. The system has a modified thermal design to allow it to operate at a wide range of working temperatures from 0°C to 45 °C. The embedded box is optimal for embedded industrial applications from transportation to POS to automation.

The embedded system is powered by CPU type: 4-core 8 thread i7 2.1GHz 6MB Cache processor/ 2-core 4 thread i5 2.5GHz 3MB Cache processor/ 2-core 4 thread i3 2.2GHz 3MB Cache processor Powered by Core i7/ i5/ i3 multiple core high performance processors, the FES8912 rugged embedded PC offers excellent and reliable computing capability. The chipset is HM65 and the memory consists of two 204-pin DDR3 1066/1333 SODIMM, and goes up to 8GB of storage. It comes with the features of a standard motherboard and the additional function for industrial computer application. It accepts two 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM memory (up to 8 GB), four COM ports, six USB ports, two on board Ethernet LAN (100/1000Mbps) and VGA video out port.

The fan less industrial PC uses the industry-grade power supply which equipped with a 10 - 30VDC ATX 150W power supply. It includes options for a 110/220VAC power adapter. The system offers a standard 2.5 inch SATA hard drive and on board Compact Flash socket for the windows embedded application. The rugged enclosure provides one PCI 32 bit slot and one PCI express by 4 for the expansion slots. Measuring at 5.6"(W) x 7.3 "(H) x 9.8 "(D), the FES8912 is small enough for easy storage in uneasy spaces.

The FES8912 is fully compatible with 32/64 bit versions of Window 7 / 8 and Linux.
