Acnodes extended temperature operation touch panel PCs feature Celeron J1900 Quad Core or Celeron N2930, in an industrial-grade LCD flat panel with resistive type touch screen or capacitive type touch screen technology, and supports an extended temperature range of -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F). Acnodes PC-based wide temperature touch screen panels are designed with energy-efficient technologies, low-power CPUs and chipsets, and fanless cooling systems. The Windows-based wide temperature operating PCs are ideally designed for the use in the most demanding indoor and outdoor product applications. Acnodes full range selections of industrial displays are offered in screen sizes 12”, 15”, 17”, and 24”.
Constructive Built and Environmental Features
With an aluminum front cover and sheet metal rear cover, the Panel PCs are meant to achieve in tough working environments. The aluminum is lightweight yet durable and provides great thermal conductivity. The sheet metal provides slim and sturdy backing. The front bezel is of IP65 rated aluminum, which has the capability for water proof and complete protection from dust, oil, and other non-corrosive material and protection from contact with enclosed equipment. With its tight dimensions, the ability to be mounted is no hassle with the plentiful options of mounts. The panel PC can be mounted via ARM, wall, panel, stand, rackmount, or VESA (100x100mm). The range of extended operating temperature accommodates from -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F) and storage temperature of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).
Touch Screen Monitors
Acnodes extended temperature panel PCs offer monitors in 12”, 15”, 17”, and 24”. They feature LED backlights to save power. One of the biggest problems that drain the monitor’s power consumption is the luminescence the monitor light gives off. Monitors that incorporate LED backlights are not only energy efficient and better for the environment, but also produce accurate colors and color gamut. Having more color gamut will increase the range of colors that are available on the monitor.
The 5-wire resistive type touch screen offers high resistance to surface contaminants and liquids, can be activated with virtually any object, and has low power consumption. The 5-wire resistive type design allows the panel PC to support up to thirty-five million touches. An important distinction of the 5-wire resistive touch screen is that the bottom glass has a detectable function, which will not be affected even if the top ITO film is impaired. An advantage of this type of touch screen is that it allows the PC to be activated with any object (gloves, finger, and stylus). It also makes the screen invulnerable to harmful dust, oils, and liquids in a typical industrial environment.
Aside from 5-wire resistive type, projected capacitive type 2-point touch screen is also available. A projected capacitive touch screen allows the user to have a multi touch activation of the screen not only with a finger, but with surgical gloves as well. This type of touch screen not only presents clearer image quality it is also invulnerable to dust and liquids.

Acnodes wide temperature Panel PCs operate with Celeron J1900 Quad Core or Celeron N2930 Quad Core, both ensuring adequate performance for end-users while consuming small amounts of power. Furthermore, its fanless design ensures silent operating, improved reliability, and reduced maintenance. The memory is 2GB 204-pin 1333MHz DDR3 SO-DIMM or 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMM with storage of 2.5” SATA HDD bay or 64GB mSATA SSD/ 500GB SATAII HDD bay.
