The integrated USB hub in the KVM allows it to centralize control of a PC and peripheral functions from a single 1U rack-mountable console. It allows the user to share USB devices on multiple computers without detaching the USB device from the console.  For example, if you wanted to use a specific thumb drive for all 8 computers connected to your KVM switch, all you would need to do is attach the thumb drive on the front USB input and change from port to port.  This will allow each computer to see the thumb drive without any other requirements from the user.  This can be helpful for software upgrades on multiple platforms and is super convenient especially when the built-in monitor and keyboard are utilized.

KPH802:
The KPH802 is an 8 port VGA USB Hub KVM for VGA enabled servers with resolution support up to 1920 x 1200. The KVM switch supports two user consoles (1 x Local & 1 x Over-IP) and two USB hub ports for peripheral devices, storage devices, printers, and other USB 2.0 devices.
