The KD9258is a new short-depth 1U rack mount monitor-keyboard drawer with a built-in 8-port KVM switch and WXGA LCD display.

The KD9258 is a monitor keyboard drawer that is ready to be mounted into the standard 15" rack cabinet and can be extended up to 20" deep for the rack server cabinet. It includes a 15.6 inch 1280 x 768 LCD panel and is an active type digital to digital type, which connects to the on board conversion board. The LCD monitor comes with standard 15 pin VGA connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for your pc system connection. The OSD function, which is located on the front of the LCD monitor for easier access, lets you adjust the LCD monitor for the best view and can be tilted to a 90 degree horizontal angle. The auto shut off function enables when the monitor drawer is in its resting position, which saves on LCD monitor life.

The keyboard and touch pad located on the front of the rackmount drawer underneath the LCD monitor and both come with proprietary DB-15 KVM connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for the user’s pc system connection. The slim type (notebook size) keyboard comes with function keys and hotkey.
The KD9258 is a low profile 1U drawer that saves rack space and has an integrated LCD monitor, keyboard and pointing device all in a complete unit. The ball bearing slide rail was mounted on the each side of the drawer that you can pull out the drawer from the 15" rack cabinet. The thumb lock is installed on the front panel to lock the drawer inside the rack when the monitor keyboard drawer is not in use.

The KD9258 comes with a built in 8 port combo free KVM switch, while also providing the KVM switch function for your unique hardware applications. The 8 ports KVM switch is built into the keyboard drawer and provides the 8 KVM ports on the back of the drawer and enables the user to select the PC stations through the OSD (on screen display) menu or front hot key buttons. It also supports hot plug function and comes standard with 6’ high density KVM cables for each individual KVM port and is compatible with SUN and PC systems.
