LCD keyboard drawer comes with 17 inch 1280 x 1024 monitor, 104 keys keyboard with key pad (combo free) and 3 button membrane touch pad. Optional for DVI, S video, BNC & touch screen.

The KD8172 is a 17 inch LCD panel with an active type digital to digital which connects to the on board conversion board and auto support 1280 x1024 display resolutions. The LCD monitor comes with standard 15 pin VGA connector on the back of the rack mount drawer for your Sun system connection, while the OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitor for the best view. All the OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor for easy access. The monitor can be tilted to a 90 degree horizontal angle and the auto shut off function enables whenever the monitor drawer is back to its rest position and allows for saving LCD monitor life.

The keyboard and 3 buttons track pad (USB or PS/2 type) are mounted on the front of the rack mount drawer underneath the LCD monitor and connect a standard USB type connector on the back of the rack mount drawer for the Sun system connection. The 104-keys keyboard comes with 3-button touch pad.

The KD8172 is a low profile 1U high rackmount monitor drawer that saves the rack space and includes integrated LCD monitor, keyboard and track ball to complete the unit. The ball bearing slide rail is mounted on the each side of the drawer so that it can be a pull-out drawer from the 19" rack cabinet. Two thumb lockers are installed on the front panel to lock the drawer inside the rack when the monitor keyboard drawer is not being used.

The KD8172 comes with one 110/220VAC 12V/5A external power adapter and is ready to mount into the standard 17" rack cabinet. The standard rear mounting bracket can be extended up to 36" deep for the rack server cabinet. Acnodes Corp. provides 1 x 6-feet 15pins D sub proprietary cable for monitor, keyboard and touch pad, but has an option for 10 feet and 15 feet cable.
